It seemed timely to watch Civil War. I think it does a pretty good job capturing the senseless violence that is inherent to war. You never even learn the root cause of the war, but it quite frankly doesn't matter.

I was listening to Tucker and PBD a few weeks ago and I think PBD mentioned they assassinate the character that arguably represents Trump… They speculated it could be propaganda to influence the idea
Was much less about the war itself and more about the story of the journos covering it. Would have been much better focussed on the civil war plot imo.
I watched it this weekend and loved it. It was refreshing that it portrayed the hell that war is instead of leaning on political intrigue, and the light exposition gave room for the viewer's imagination of the scenario that led to the war
Pro-journalist propaganda. The only "good guys" in the big bad world are the journalists. Risking their lives to show us the truth. Conveniently, released right before they really, really need us to listen to journalists. Aside from that, lots of laughably bad technical errors. Like '80s action movie bad. If it weren't for the serious tone, it might be forgiveable. It wasn't as bad as Expendables 4, the new Mission Impossible, or Without Remorse.
What errors did you spot? I recall laughing at the scene with choppers flying 50 feet off the ground between high rise buildings. No sane pilot would do that due to threats from above.
Pretty much anything involving a firearm. And yeah, I was looking for Stallone during that helicopter scene. 😂 I mean, it's fine, it just didn't go with the tone of the thing.
