It's not Nostr censorship though, it's amethyst censorship. It's a client issue, not a protocol issue. If anything this confirms the protocol's censorship resistance.
But we do need clients that are on the side of free speech. Censors must become irrelevant. I think we're on the right path.

It is Censorship. Amethyst is a major app on Android. By default, it's shadow-banning users with a social credit score system. Many WoT relays are using the same algorithms to shadow-ban people. using these apps and relays will hide your existence from people without their knowledge or consent. Who the fuck cares about the protocol? I can use any protocol. That's not the point.
