He has many many valid points and I genuinely like him. In his eyes though, he is NEVER wrong and when you challenge him on something, he'll generally just ignore you🤷🏻♂️.

Exactly. We probably fundamentally agree on more than we disagree.
Humility might not be his thing. Just don't trust blindly and verify his claims like everyone else
