Everyone started off calling them “altcoins,” as if they were a going to take down Bitcoin. Then the narrative shifted to “meme coins,” intentionally a joke. But the truth has never changed: they’ve been shitcoins from the very beginning, and deep down everyone knows it.

maybe some people thought this. but the people who actually *know, knew that we were always going to have ALL the options. sure, with the exception of other decentralized, PoW chains (XMR, BCH, LTC etc) theyre probably shit. but because they have no *use* not simply because theyre not Bitcoin in fact all "altcoins" ARE Bitcoin through isomorphism #IsomorphismNotMaximalism
