I think he’s criticising more fiscal policy than food merely stamps Lyn.
But it’s a song, not a macro podcast - have to be a bit more snappy with the wording. Bit hard to articulate how inflation is destroying purchasing power and the taxes only rob us further in a 3 minute country ballad.

The song altho short and not conveying many more serious issues did encite conversation and awareness. So in my opinion it did its job
