Honestly, I never considered it, but this is the fourth place I've lived where it's been sold to someone located in an NYC/NJ corporation or individual.

we moved from long island parents were both from Queens originally, to central #upstate #ny in the 70s. everyone has always wanted out of the city. it's nothing new.
No no. They still live there. They just own 100s of properties up here.
that doesn't surprise me either. just a few hours away from nyc is perfect for a bug out location. especially these days.
