Tether (and others) will eventually act as a de-facto cbdc. Yes, stable coins are the future. You are just misunderstanding what he means by it.

I wasn't referring to him specifically. Stablecoins may be the NEAR future but not the distant. I still don't think stablecoins will work in the long run since they're tied to the dollars value. I was more referring to bitcoin holders who endorse numbers 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8.

Also, it's not like any of this will matter. If it does, then there's always the "nuclear" option for the bitcoin network.
Thats part of the point. Its how usd maintains global dominance. Tether is used all over, and Tether is one of the largest holders of treasuries. They keep buying tresuries as long as people keep using tether and the dollar remains supreme.

Yes, but people want to see gains and a rise in purchasing power. Not something that just holds stagnant value. The dollar will remain but it won't gain value. I can imagine that eventually people will eventually realize this and transition to bitcoin. With this said, Tether and all other CBDCs are essentially pointless in the long run.

Honestly, I think Bitcoin and it's principles will continue to grow in an organic nature (as it always has) regardless of what companies, individuals, or governments say about it. Satoshi built the railroad and now everyone else is just contributing to it.
Oh yea Im not saying or implying anything against btc. Btc exists so it aint goin nowhere. But all the simping for government involvement is not good at all. Its an ethos problem, not a btc problem. Snakes in the midst are the real threat.
People also like to spend money on things and third world nations love stablecoins since their national currency is shit. There are billions of people and most are just trying to eat. They could give a fuck about ngu or anything else. And stablecoins offer that to them.

That's true. I agree. Not sure what to say. Let Darwinism run its course. It always has.
Now thats an idea I can get behind. They gonna do what they gonna do, and we gonna say fuck you. Thats my plan in a nutshell🫡

All I can add to this is that people who refuse to adapt will suffer massive financial losses for themselves and their offspring. That's always been the case. I do think Bitcoin will become the world's first universal currency at some point. I think I'll be alive to witness this. Things seem to be accelerating faster than anticipated. I doubt this was part of whatever plan they have, as humanity has always been absolutely terrible at predicting the long-term effects of their actions. There are just too many variables to consider.
Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. And expect the unexpected.
