Maybe “app” is too limiting. The web broke us free from “apps”. Why are we going back to that constrained mindset?

Agree! The ethos of Web5 could even be called "post-App". Everythihg FOSS and distributed Protocol. Everyone running their own Node or scaling out thereof... This is the vision.
