You’re right, that’s a big one. If nostr ever gets big, I suspect the marketing people would try to spoil it. Popular apps and big relays would be incentivised to sell advertising space. But I reckon there would be an immediate switch to other apps and relays in response. The protocol works for the users. It’s a beautiful thing.
