These people will just use cash app or similar, it's not my problem. Knowledge is power gi joe.
It's important that cash app use something more Bitcoin centric and not settle for solana because Bitcoin lacks optionally on L2. There is something between self custody lightning and cusdodied lightning that has a strictly better trust model than custody lightning and it's way better UX than running your own node. Ark was halfway there. Bitcoin script and mini script is not expressive enough to do things without a few new op codes.
Lightning incentive is for plebs to starve and businesses to thrive. The more liquidity you have, the more profitable and reliable your node. Counter intuitive for people that want to use it for small and frequent payments. ie small liquidity for the actual user...
I look at a node just like a modem. People just dont know they need internet yet and nobody's making it more dummy user friendly. Time and genius is all we need.
I think you're missing the problem. There is no dummy friendlyness that take away the constraint that you need a large investment of capital to make small payments reliable.
No one is going to buy a modem they need to put $1000 dollars into, spend $20 to get the $1000 into it, just so they can now make a $50 payment that still fails half the time unless they add more capital to it.
The only expensive part of a node is the storage, and that may be temporary. Nobody has even tried to make a commercially available consumer node yet, it's enthusiast only at this point but doesn't mean that won't change where you can get one at Walmart for 79.99 someday.
