I would presume so and my remake to the this blog post was of course made ironically. Hard to tell what's going to happen, I feel that things have always been uncertain, but we're reaching even higher levels of uncertainty right now. As Terence McKenna once said, paraphrasing: things are gonna get weirder and weirder until we're going to have to do something about it.
