Yeah I feel like I remember Odell being very much pro core30
I remember him telling others to use core30 then saying he himself runs core29 and wouldn't be upgrading because of legal risks

You guys are either being dishonest or hallucinating.
Odell never recommended upgrading to v30. I know this because my node is still running v28, largely because of listening to Odell's advice on RHR.
