After the events of yesterday I felt myself starting to spiral into a place of fear. I generally avoid news cycles because I know they are designed to incite fear, which the enemy feeds off of. But this was too big to ignore. It needs to be seen and known.
Once I recognized this fear, I stopped in my tracks and took those thoughts captive and brought them into the obedience of Jesus Christ by turning to the Word of God.
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
II Timothy 1:7 NKJV
I pray that God bless Charlie Kirk and his family. I am deeply sad thinking about how his wife and children will have to live this life without him but praying they find comfort in the Lord.
We must remember that what the enemy meant for evil, God can use for good.
“But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.”
Genesis 50:20 NKJV
