The whole point of Nostr is that your ID is not an account. You can use your ID to have accounts; my npub might be registered as particular relays that allow me to see particular content, hence i have an account with that relay.
Its due to the architecture of platforms that there is a conflation between the ID/profile and the account; in that context they are the exact same thing.
But you would obviously note it to be absurd if i were to claim that your name, Vitor, is an account; at the same time you understand that your name is registered in various accounts for all sorts of purposes/services.

Hence, i am not arguing petty semantics, this runs at the core of what it is we are doing here.
Each nsec you have controls a Nostr account. Your name can have as many accounts as you wish. We don't have accounts with relays on Nostr.
