I'll keep an open mind. It’s not that hard to just not merge a contentious change. Core is basically asking for Knots to be relevant ... and if I’m Luke, I’d take advantage of that. Maybe Core can’t be opinionated as the reference, fine. But Knots is where some/most Bitcoiners line up. And like Tomer said, this is just the reality now ... Knots is here to stay if Core won’t listen. Core’s being questioned, and rightfully so.
