The best way to get people on Nostr isn't to say "This is the new social media, you should like it" It's to show and prove it's value, if someone uses an app that runs on Nostr, and has a good experience, it's much more likely they will be interested in using Nostr more. Nostr works best when it fades into the background and user experience and it's decentralized nature are main focus. Being not able to be banned and make money off of your posts are probably good ways to attract newbies.
