When I was a teenager I read endlessly and I truly read everything. Science books, science fiction, fantasy, romance, thrillers, historical novels, poetry, drama… the list could go on forever. But what I loved most, especially late at night, was to switch to something very light. Almost childlike. Those books were my way to keep life in balance. Today I decided to reread one of those stories that, back in my teenage years, carried a kind of playful humour, the sort that instantly lifts your mood without you even noticing. And of course I ended up picking up several other books just like it. Light, easy, a little silly but somehow still speaking to me now. Do you have a book that feels like an old friend? image

Interesting, I don't think I have any like that. I have started reading later after college. Can you share several recommendations that are nice within their gendre? Currently I am going through stormlight archives 😅
Stormlight is a whole commitment 😄 Maybe try the Lux series, The Hunger Games or The Book Thief. No idea if they’re your vibe but at 15–16 they were my ultimate escape plan
