I'm half-way through reading The Hidden Girl and Other Stories by Ken Liu (just finished Real Artists), and I think it's a fantastic addition to any sci-fi bookshelf.
While reading Byzantine Empathy, I got the feeling that this author is writing from personal experiences with cryptocurrency, but I'm not entirely sure. You can probably guess what happens to the Empathium shitcoin.
