What's your homelab setup for replacing Google Docs and Google sheets?
I want to share and update spreadsheets with my wife for our budget.
I'm thinking LibreOffice + Syncthing

Sync thing is great, and you can run it internally only if you host your own relays and turn off global discovery.
I use this for backups and next cloud for docs (comes with collabora)
We are sharing hardware 🖥️
Nextcloud but not using it robustly yet.
LibreOffice + Syncthing
Syncthing is no the best has some flaws but it works, I barely need to share documents between devices.
I need to try Collabra
I need to try Collabra
What do you mean boss?
Its pretty good. I'm not an extensiveuserr, more casual but I've not had any problems with it
I'll spin it up and take 'er for a ride. I am wondering how it will compare to just using Syncthing... Seems people have mentioned using Nextcloud with Collabora and Syncthing with Collabora. The common throughline being Collabora
Yeah I have just this one usecase... And TBH I'm mostly the one editing the file. The only thing we sync is our notes (iOS) where we record family monthly transactions. Want to move that to a self-hosted solution too.
Have not looked into Collabora. Will give it a peek.
I mean in household, we use the same device for shared notes and documents. No online sharing required.
Same
Just use Notesnook or Standard Notes.
Hosting a Nextcloud or even selfhosting something is too much for a single document.
I'm gonna be using Standard notes. This was more for Sheets
