You can, in Sparrow its in the settings tab for the wallet itself and then you go to advance settings and set the gap limit. Not sure what your other wallet is but youd look for something similar there.

@binsky In other words, if it scans subsequent addresses and finds no coins it'll stop at the gap limit but you can make it scan more.
