Travelling solo is such a great experience and I would encourage everyone to try it at least once if you can. There is something about being in a foreign country where the language is not your mother tongue and no one knows you, and you have no one to rely on but yourself. Interactions with others (locals and other travellers) just seem different in a positive way. I cant quite put my finger on it.
