These are 4K remasters from the original film, not the Hollywood remaster. Check the last link, it goes into detail on the process.

Yes very interesting, I always wonder how these are done theres something about it that depending on the methods used it either comes out looking good or looking ugly. It's nice someone did the vhs versions
If you haven't watched these you should. It is a very well done project, they look incredible. All 3 original films are now available. They blow the VHS (lol) and DVD versions away.
