📦 IPFS media is now live on nosmero. Insert a CID into a post or "upload" to IPFS instead of the regular media attachment. You can still insert media through the existing process but I added the IPFS option for those with a library of CIDs or if you want to create a shareable link of the file that can open in any browser through the nosmero IPFS gateway. Each npub gets 500 MB of CID pinning (IPFS "uploads"). Click the 📦 in compose → pick a file → post. You can manage what you've "uploaded" to IPFS under the new "IPFS Media" tab in the hamburger menu. *Why IPFS? * Your media stays fetchable from any public gateway (dweb.link, ipfs.io, etc.), not just nosmero's gateway.
