I once was walking down the street and overheard a father talking to his young son (4yo?): "hey, you want to go watch the trash truck?" Like he was offering him a trip to the circus. They both seemed SO excited. I have girls, and I thought this was pretty much the funniest thing I had ever heard.

I once had a coworker who used to vie with his neighbour to be the first person on the street to put their bins out each week. It cracked me up. He would come in to work on bin day with an update and a tally. Me, I’m a ‘look out the window to see which bins go out each week’ kind of person - is it green bin week or recycling bin week? I love the differences in humans 💜
