was hard going, they're both very clever bods and I didn't know what a lot of things meant ( 'discounts' especially) but managed to finish and now have a slightly better grasp of capital... after it was explained in terms of mud 😅

Yeah, I can understand that. I’m lucky, where I read multiple economics books prior to this one, making the information easier to absorb. It did take me a little while to adjust to their writing style though. It reminded me of Maps of Meaning, where no sentence is wasted and very specifically crafted. I don’t think I’d feel comfortable recommending the complete book to newbies. However, some of the sections/essays are very well written and could easily be understood by anyone. With only 30 pages left, I’m feeling a little sad the experience is coming to an end.
