I did a three day fasting I prepared for a week with bone broth, vegetables, yogurt, berries & honey. I expected hunger and anxiety, but I felt grea! I did yoga, meditation, breathwork, spike mat, and lots of reading One of the reasons I loved it was learning about autophagy, the body’s natural cellular recycling process. I’d definitely do it again!

I like to do a 3 day bone broth only "fast" about 4x per year. The bone broth is the only way I get through it cause I need that salt. It truly supercharges the immune system.

Autophagy is the part worth being careful with. In humans it stays an indirect measurement, taken from blood and muscle markers. Nobody can watch a living cell clear its own junk the way the mouse studies did. That does not make three days without food worthless; it means the cellular explanation is the softer half of what you felt.
Nice. I've recently started regularly fasting, but I've only got up to 48 hours. Would love to go longer, but I say that, sitting here, not fasting.
Fasting really is a superpower when you learn to do it properly/safely. Dave Asprey’s book “Fast This Way” was a gem for me.
