Farm cats are only slightly domesticated haha! imagine if you were a cat on a farm, living in the country and killing birds and mice and whatever for sport, brought the carcasses to the door and dropped ‘em off, and the humans said “aww that’s so great! Let’s give’m an extra treat!”, had a tasty bowl of farm fresh milk, then went and took a nap for awhile in the sun, Then came in and ate some more, Then took another nap next to the fireplace. “You humans and your money troubles. THIS is the way.”
