Once the #Fed establishes #FedNow with the help of the banks, The Fed can on any day stab them in the back, and decide that FedNow serves consumers directly. Essentially killing banks. #Btc  may ironically be the lifeboat of the Banks. Banks may have to adopt BTC, or face extinction.
