Dude tells me to open it, small talk while he moves stuff around, grabs a bag and asks? What’s this?
Uh oh… I started imagining the worst: a couple of agents asking me to follow them, interrogation on the tiny florescent light security room, all that good stuff…
He take everything out of the bag and starts scrubbing them all with that thing they use. I remembered the devices were touched by hundreds of people in the last few days. What if someone left explosive traces on one of the devices? Drugs, chemicals?
Nothing. The guy comes back, makes fun of me calls me a nerd, and then says: “You are free to go.”

Someone ignorance is someone else bliss.
I was a pyrotech a few years ago. Shot a show walked the computer that fires it through TSA 6 hrs later it scrubbed clean. It is all a show of superiority and control.
