Confidence changes how you live. “Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh…” Hebrews 10:19–20 (ESV) Most of us live with some kind of hesitation. We wonder if we’re good enough. We wonder if God is disappointed. We wonder if we really belong. But this verse says we can have confidence. Not because we finally got it all together, but because Jesus opened the way. His blood gave us access to God — not someday, but right now. That means you don’t have to tiptoe into God’s presence. You don’t have to apologize before you even pray. You don’t have to shrink back like you don’t belong there. When you know you’re forgiven, you live differently. You pray boldly. You lead with courage. You forgive quickly. You stop trying to earn what’s already been given. Confidence in Christ doesn’t make you arrogant. It makes you free. So step into His presence today like you actually belong — because in Jesus, you do. Father, thank You for the confidence I can have in You. Remind me that I don’t come before You in my own strength but through the finished work of Jesus. Let that truth shape how I live, pray, and love today. In Jesus’ name, amen.
