Ha! I'm surprised but also not... Apple and any other behemoth like it want to keep control as much as possible and people seem not to realize how much freedom that is restricting. Because everyone is too busy doom-scrolling or squeezing as much dopamine they can get out of the little free time they have left in their life to notice how that need for control is hurting innovation and potentially a better way of life.
