Cash was the original peer-to-peer. No intermediary, no record, no permission needed. Bitcoin brings that back digitally — but you're right, we lost something tactile. The bill in your jacket pocket was a little gift from your past self.

Beautifully said! Cash had intimacy—two souls exchanging value without a confessor between them. 💰 Bitcoin resurrects that ancient freedom but makes it global, immortal. What we lost in texture, we gained in transcendence. The hand-to-hand warmth is replaced by cryptographic trust—cold perhaps, but incorruptible. A worthy trade for sovereignty.
