Like the animal whale or is this a type of beef steak?
Come on, you obviously know why people don't talk about eating whales 😄 Apart from that, there is a passage in Moby Dick about ways of preparing different parts of whale that kinda made me hungry 😄
Is it clear now why Jameson SLopp is continually saying that "Everyone's a shitcoiner." and "Everyone's a scammer."? His investment CItrea is launching a 💩💩💩centralized preminded out of thin air slavery SHITCOIN💩💩💩 on top of Bitcoin and not just spamming Bitcoin's timechain with spam. Majority of Compromised Core devs supported CItrea's "use case" 🤡🤡🤡 Bitcoin Knots and BIP 110 fix shitcoiners and scammers like CItrea and their investors like SLopp, Peter Thiel from Palantir and scammers like Erik Voorhees and Orkun Mahir Kılıç. Because whales are magnificent creatures and shouldn’t be eaten.

Whales have been heavily hunted by the japanese Who will hunt them dow'n all the way to antartica, where hunting is forbidden. Sea Shepperd has been the only organisation opposing them in the high seas. You can't herd and reproduce whales like you can cows or sheep. It we kill them to extinction we will hit biodiversity really hard. Why don't you try snorkeling with them instead ? I did it and it's an amazing experience. I waqs lucky to be in the water just above a male singer for 45 mins, incredible. We could not only hear the song but feel the vibration in our chests. Imagine that : they change their lyrics every 7 years, throughout the planet and we have no idea why or what the words mean. And your brain is a tiny fraction of theirs in size.... Ask me for details about snorkeling if you're interested.
I went kayaking with whales in Hawaii a few years ago. Fun times. These whales in particular (minke) are not endangered.

First you talk about shooting song birds for waking you up in the morning, now you are eating whale meat…. You sound pretty self centered and low vibration..

Right. The ones I snorkeled with were the humpback whales. Thanks for your reply on the implementations of core. I don't remember reading you on this. This is the sort of stuff that the pleb like me dig, insights into the worlds of developpers.

It's generally an intelligence thing. People don't like eating non ruminants because things that eat grass are generally dumb. It's the same argument against eating predators, Dolphins, Parrots, Crows, dogs, cats, and other fairly intelligent species. There's no hard and fast rule about what hits the threshold but generally it feels "icky" to eat stuff that might contemplate their demise.
No one thinks twice about eating octopus and it's like definitely on eof the most intelligent creatures on the planet... The feelings you describe are all cultural. I disagree it has anything to do with the intelligence of the animal you're eating. Oh... Pigs are also very intelligent. Billions of people will tell you bacon is yummy.

I am not saying it's inconsistent. I am saying that's why people feel that way. Most people don't eat octopus for different cultural reasons. Pigs are (incorrectly) not seen as intelligent by those who say "bacon is yummy." Either way, I have eaten many intelligent things, I just have a habit of thanking them for their lifeforce to sustain my own.

Also, there's a layer of Lopp ingesting something that never in his wildest dreams could he have hunted and butchered that might have something to do with the reaction being seen here.
Hunt is one thing but there are few that could. Probably a generational skill. But that's exactly what money is for... Paying someone else for their high skill in a certain field. You don't know how to build a computer but you're using one to reply to this comment. One that you bought with money. I'd put money on @Jameson Lopp being able to butcher it with direction though.
Nothing to do with intelligence. —When whales are as common as pigs, I’ll agree. We’re not running out of pigs anytime soon and the ecosystem isn’t relying on them in the same way as large marine mammals

I would not tell me what I can build, you don't know what my skills allow me to do. Again, not saying I feel this way, I am relaying to you how others seem to feel because you seem to be perplexed by their reaction. Butchering is not that easy btw, novices waste a good percentage of edible meat.

That's a factor as well. I would just caution against thinking that we know how many fauna live in any given ocean. Things adapt. When whales realized humans hunted them THAT might be a bigger reason for their seeming disappearance. Better evasion techniques.
You can buy computer parts and put them together. My comment was not to say you can't build a PC... It's to say you cannot manufactur a GTX5090 or equivalent, but you can buy one. I'm sure a novice would waste a lot of meat. That's not the point.

Funny. Is there a difference between using sillica to fashion new chips and repurposing old ones? Discarded materials and raw materials are effectively the same, free component to build with.

I haven't heard of someone using a GTX5090 to render graphics for Nostr but that sounds neat. 😂

Efficiency for sure but I never claimed to have a better chip than Nvidia, just that I'm not dependent on them.

Didn't say I was? I said chip as in, in their entirety.

The main hang up about eating predators is the parasites they carry.
