“DEI” was always a scam. A scam which corporations played along with to score virtue points in the hopes it would make them more money and help them avoid scrutiny for the fucked up shit they did. Much like ESG, DEI was a red herring. It’s no coincidence that highly-publicized corporate DEI initiatives coincided with the largest mass censorship campaigns to date. As soon as it became clear to corporations that their DEI initiatives did NOT increase shareholder value, nor shield them from public scrutiny for their behind-closed-doors fuckery, they abandoned them. Much like Blackrock dropped their ESG push once it stopped increasing their bottom line, companies like Meta are, and will continue, dropping their DEI initiatives. If you honestly bought the lies sold to you about DEI or ESG I am sorry. You are the victim of well-funded corporate propaganda campaigns aided by a bloated and feckless government and a complicity legacy media. That said, it’s never too late to wake the fuck up and think for yourself. Anyway, hope everyone is having a nice Saturday. image

dei is still a big part of most companies, at least in the company i’m in it’ll take a bit to phase it out, but they will need a new branding to replace it

The fun part is the EU made ESG mandatory via regulation. If you are not a very small company, you have to write long ESG reports and if you are a small biz that supplies a big company, they force you to write an ESG reports as well. And if you don't or your ESG reporting looks bad, the banks won't give you loans (or at higher interest) or you just won't get the jobs anymore (as a small company). Cancelling all that in the EU socialist structure will take a looooong time even if there's a will. The small guy is going to adapt and possibly stop supplying the large companies and the big companies will pay big compliance companies to write some believable bullshit with AI. And everything just gets even less competitive.
