I'm thinking especially of amethyst. The default banner for people who have not put a profile banner is ai slop of the worst order. This is a terrible look But no one seemingly cares at at amethyst about this decision. It's like they don't want blew people on nostr lol

They are absolutely not expected to have a cover image, you can just publish articles without cover images.
