Was Ottertune evolution? Sure I've used it but I also think it's a very tired sound and not an effect I'd use unless I wanted a comedy effect. I'd rather record a musician who understood tuning. I remember one of the last Aretha Franklyn singles, some over enthusiastic producer decided to tune and time align her vocals and it sounded pretty abysmal. Most singers, including the very best can move in and out of tune to give a perfomance feeling.
AI music just means more Nickleback. Obviously people are going to use it a tonne but it can't make anything genuinly new at this point. Maybe more Nickleback but with overly autotuned vocals.
Did I mention Nickleback yet?
Still, it'll be nice to sit round a campfire while someone types prompts into their phone.
