So, Yakihonne sure looks cool, and seems to be working smooth aswell! I hope this all goes through like I intended… I’ve been a great fan of @nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955 and I’ve used it for 90% of the time since I discovered ##nostr ! But due to issues with Apple they can’t ship their latest app updates anymore I believe? Because of the zapping option? At least that’s how I understood it. Which, for me at least, causes it to be a bit laggy sometimes and that’s a bit annoying tbh. But I must say that I really like the UI of nostr:npub1yzvxlwp7wawed5vgefwfmugvumtp8c8t0etk3g8sky4n0ndvyxesnxrf8q , kinda fun that I’m able to post gifs too. Overall it feels a lot smoother and more intuitive. But I just started discovering… so 🤷🏼‍♂️ few questions tho: what’s up with Smart Widgets? What’s the use of that? And I’ve noticed that I’m able to publish a “Paid note” too? What’s that about? So, what makes it run smoother? And how come Apple doesn’t have a problem with Yakihonne? I can also #zap people on here so I don’t really get it. Do Damus and Yakihonne just focus on different things in terms of UI and development? I know it kinda comes down to your own preferences, but why would Damus or Yakihonne be the better option? #asknostr #grownostr #damus #yakihonne nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s

Oh snap, Derek Ross replied to me 🥳 ! Sometimes I feel like I totally understand Nostr, but at times like this, I don’t understand. Sure, the UI is different between both apps. But I feel like the feed is also different, however, I didn’t really change anything (that I know of). Your feed kinda depends on what Relays you’re using right?

haha, hey hey! yes, that's correct. the feed differences that you're seeing could be due to Outbox model being supported in Yakihonne. this is a more decentralized and more modern way of doing things. Damus is still using the legacy model for feeds. the feeds should be extremely, but some differences could exist if a particular relay is down or slow to respond.
