It is extremely important to call things what they are & to not be afraid to do so. There is no such thing as a "trans" person because there is no transition taking place. A person allowing others to surgically abuse & chemically castrate them is not a transition. A man is an adult male. A woman is an adult female. You grow up to become an adult version of whatever your sex was at birth & there is no amount of drugs or surgery that can change that. Biological reality gives no fucks about feelings. Equality & racism & fascism have all been completely inverted. According to today's insanity, people are only "equal" if minorities get special treatment. Advocating a colorblind assessment of deeds & actions is "racist." And disobedience in the face of insane medical mandates & lockdowns is the work of "fascist" extremists. It is important to point out the absurdity when any of these things are implied. And the practice of changing language is certainly not new. Nearly every label of every govt bureacracy & every govt policy is a similar sort of corruption. Taxation is theft & extortion & ultimately a form of enslavement. "Progressive" policies are wildly regressive, truly racist, & extremely pro-slavery. Minimum wage is sold as a way to help the poor, but it's actually a way to create a permanently dependent underclass that is always unemployable. The "Affordable Care Act" roughly quintupled the price of health insurance. The primary aim of the Department of Defense is foreign military aggression. "Security" agencies place back doors in software. "Intelligence" agencies primarily spread lies & disinformation in order to dumb down & control people. This list could go on & on & on. It is not a coincidence that the people doing the enslaving are trying to define slavery as whips & chains that they aren't using. It's not a coincidence that they want people to believe "freedom" comes from obedience & "trusting the science." image

To meet in the middle on one point, I think one can be trans if they have transitioned from one social pattern to another that better matches their predilections - which AFAIK is what the non-anti-science ones are claiming after all.

Is it social patterns that make a person a man or a woman? Or is defining people by social patterns more akin to some form of stereotyping & bigotry...? Because I think many of the famous "trans" people are really just making a mockery of the opposite sex.
Precisely, that's why I say they are few and far between. E.g. Ron Paul. We have progressives and milk-toast progressives

I think there are two things. One’s biological predispositions, and then how one sees oneself and fits into society. When they perceive a mismatch, they may change their presentation / behavior in society and also change their biology to some degree to try to close the gap. Do those changes make them in an ontological sense something they previously were not? That really depends on how we want to define what it means to make them something different. In one sense, you’re 100% right, nothing will change their DNA+. I don’t think that’s the sense that they care about though, one in which they are at least partially right (again not the people who say things like there aren’t these two things, there is only the latter thing and it isn’t affected by DNA and who seem to be mostly wrong). Another thought here is that I think nobody should try to push a concept of themselves into someone else’s head. If I want you to think of me as nice, but you don’t.. sucks to be me. Same if I want you to think I’m right about any of this. I think part of this topic is people get to thinking they are being made to think differently than they do by the other side. “I feel I am a women, they say I mustn’t think of myself that way” “I see that person as a man, they say I must see that person as a woman”. Neither of these messages should be communicated.
