Finally the conversation is out there

I will be suggesting via public comment something similar for my county.

Ron is probably one of the most intelligent politicians.

Wow this is huge!! My only gripe is that if one man can decide this, then it can just as easily go back to the way it was. Also, property rights seems so obvious. The fact that only 1 state is "allowing" people to actually own their own home shows you how far America has fallen. We need to shift the power back to the people in more permanent ways. Ossify freedom!

It seems like Ron is using long-range second-& third-order logic here… He seems to recognize that as AI & automation displace more & more jobs in the coming years, a large share of people may rely on government assistance. That creates a chain reaction: less income means fewer people can afford property taxes, leading to widespread defaults. And the last thing Government should be doing in that scenario is stripping someone of their homesteaded because they couldn’t keep up with taxes.

I was ready to vote for DeSantis for President. He was my first choice. RFK was my second choice after DeSantis dropped out of the race. After RFK dropped out I was over it. Obviously I voted for Trump, since there was no options left. We just put a few other idiots on the ballot to save face. At least Russia is honest about it "Everybody vote for this one candidate!"

I live in the unorganized borough in Alaska and therefore have no property tax. There is also no local government and all the benefits that has.
