Can we perhaps stop all this, and come to an agreement of being more cautious/safe with implementing changes? What about increasing the size by "just" doubling it to 160 bytes and see what happens?
from 80 to 100'000 seems excessive to many, let's be cautious, we are talking about The monetary protocol....
I'm simply asking to stop for a second and reconsider togehter here, as this change never had a smooth moment: no full support within core devs community, no full support within the broader btc community, 20% of the nodes switching to knots.
Clearly there was and there is not enough support for this change. Please have a talk with other core devs to reconsider, it would only make you gain trust and respect
