I don't really have beef with the Primal influencers, personally. I think it's just poor marketing. The only way Primal can think of growth is through convincing more of bitcointwitter to join nostr. This is either because they don't really know anyone else exists (some people think bitcointwitter is the whole of twitter), or don't care, or prefer to just build bitcointwitter2. They can obviously do whatever the hell they like, including continue building a bitcointwitter offshoot chatroom. I just don't think primal should be suggested as a client to anyone interesting.

Do you not know the nostr client, Primal? No point investigating really. Although they do have some nice touches. Unless you want the bitcointwitter2 experience.
I respectfully disagree. Primal's UI/UX is superior, and UI/UX is critical for adoption. I would recommend Primal to any potential new user. Amethyst second. Haven't tried Damus yet though. I didn't even know about the primal "influencers" until after I downloaded the apk and spent a few days on here Their only influence on me so far has been to make me eat healthier and work out more.
Fair enough. It's the sidebar that is the worst, along with the trash recommended users (hundreds of them) that people accidentally follow on sign up. IMO. It's the feedback loop of keeping/making nostr a bitcointwitter silo
