Bye bye Bitrefill card..... Important: Deposits to your Bitrefill Card require additional information. As a result of new EU regulations, the way that you deposit funds to and use your Bitrefill Card has now changed. Both the new EU Transfer of Funds Regulation (TFR) and Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) requirements now apply to the Bitrefill Card from today onwards. Read on below to understand how this will affect your usage of the Bitrefill Card:   Accessing your card Your card is getting more secure. The first time you log-in to view your Bitrefill Card from today onwards, you will be required to receive and enter an SMS code sent to your mobile phone and every 180 days following this, you will need to do the same again.   Viewing transactions older than 90 days Every time you want to view your transaction history beyond 90 days in the past, you will need to receive and enter an SMS code sent to your mobile phone.   Depositing to your Card Every time, before sending cryptocurrency to your Bitrefill Card, you will need to open our website or app and press ‘Add Funds’, following the instructions provided to you. You will need to confirm if you are sending over €1,000 of crypto to your card and whether the funds are from your own self custody wallet, a third party wallet or exchange. Once you then send the funds, you may be required to provide a declaration or liveness check depending upon the quantity.   For more information about these changes, what specifically you will need to declare and when, please see our help articles about TFR and SCA here. Thank you, The Bitrefill Team
