I am a NOSTR NEWB and I'm still struggling to figure out how to post a picture... every time I try it just comes up with some kind of a link to download and I can't even open the download. What am I doing wrong? I want to share pics. View quoted note →

I'm using Primal... but I'm switching over to Amethyst to see if that's more straightforward for me... gonna try again there.

Are your photos in an unsupported format? I’m not sure exactly what all Primal supports, but JPEG and PNG photos for sure ought to work. I don’t think Primal supports webp. Not sure about other formats.
