So it seems that the joint defence agreement signed in Mecca by Turkiye, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, was to cover some of the vacuum that is going to be left in the area after the defeat of USA by Iran. Not sure yet what this means for Israel 🤔. What do you think of all of this?

That's a difficult one. For me it looks like Saudi Oil money buys new protcetion which the US couldn't provide and these two will also not provide but they of course like to take the money. All these countries play on all sides which isn't maybe such a bad thing. Bribes will flow everywhere and Palestinians and the South of Lebanon will most likely pay the human price. This article explains certain things from the Pakistani side...👇
A very good article. But Pakistan had already a military alliance with Saudi Arabia and this is why those 8000 pakistani soldiers had been deployed there. Pakistan also has excellent relationship with Turkiye since many years. Here in Greece we know well that pakistani pilots have confronted greek pilots over the Aegean sea, since Pakistan covers Turkiye in some occasions, certainly after the failed coup against Erdogan, when Erdogan had to clear out airforce personnel that was USA friendly. At that time especially it was mostly pakistani pilots that were patroling turkish airspace. So all of this is nothing new really. But maybe something changed this time, who knows... What i believe is that this deal was made in the knowledge of USA but also Iran. This deal might leave Iran and Pakistan as the influencial powers in the area, keep saudis calm, checks somewhat the israelis, keeps USA satisfied because because it keeps Iran calm and i don't think that anybody will attack the Houthis seriously. Other countries like Qatar will join the pact soon probably. That is the best USA can do also since they are kicked out of the area.
