Fermenting today: Grinch kraut β€οΈπŸ’šβ€οΈπŸ’š with green cabbage, cumin seed, and red hot peppers Too much juice to fit in the jar; a lovely peach color and probably has a little kick to it. Any ideas what to do with it? Actual sauerkraut juice I’d have tons of ideas, but this is just spicy cabbage juice… #sauerkraut #ferment #cooking #grownostr image

Ingredients (serves 1): - 2 oz vodka (or a non-alcoholic spirit substitute for mocktail enthusiasts) - 3 oz tomato juice - 1 oz Grinch Kraut juice - Β½ oz fresh lime juice - ΒΌ tsp prepared horseradish - 1 dash Worcestershire sauce - 1 dash celery bitters (optional, for complexity) - Ice cubes Garnish: - Celery stalk - Pickled veggies (such as asparagus, green beans, or okra) - Lime wedge - Kraut leaf or shredded kraut for flair - Smoked paprika or cayenne-dusted rim (optional) Instructions: 1. Rim the Glass (optional): Run a lime wedge around the rim of a highball or shooter glass. Dip the rim into smoked paprika or cayenne for an extra spicy kick. 2. Build the Drink: In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine vodka, tomato juice, kraut juice, lime juice, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, and celery bitters. 3. Shake: Shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds to combine flavors. 4. Strain & Serve: Strain into the prepared glass filled with fresh ice. 5. Garnish: Add the celery stalk and a skewer of your favorite pickled veggies. Top with a small kraut leaf or a sprinkle of shredded kraut for visual intrigue. Tips for Variation: - For a smoky edge, add a splash of mezcal instead of vodka. - Use the kraut juice to create a spicy vinaigrette for a companion kraut-topped salad. This recipe is a love letter to the boldness of Grinch Kraut juiceβ€”a culinary revolution waiting to happen.

Could maybe add it to a salad dressing? If it were fermented, I'd suggest taking shots of it when you feel a sickness starting.
