🇻🇪 Political Prisoners: Double Vulnerability
In Venezuela, women who speak out against the regime face a double violation of their rights. Female political prisoners are subjected to the violence and humiliation characteristic of a dictatorial State that has systematically violated the law and Human Rights. Their imprisonment is, in itself, an extreme form of gender-based violence used as a tool of repression. It is our duty to raise our voices for their dignity and freedom.

Violence against women (physical, psychological, economic, or digital) is a serious violation of Human Rights. In our networks, we have the individual responsibility not to be complicit, not to silence, and to act.
