Went to an earth block home yesterday. Not only are all the bricks block but that is an earth block tile roof! My current contractor owns the hime as well as the block machine.
Plan to build with a mix of rammed earth and compressed earth block homes, using all ranch materials except for the lime added. Still need to use concrete for structure (white beams and columns) and cap on walls but much, much less.
The wood beams will be a bit expensive but the rest is mostly labor.
