I am not totally sure if I understand this correct. But I have a Laptop running with Linux and has a NVIDIA GPU installed. Currently I run with MX Linux, which is Sysv init. Maby reach out to me via private message. I use 0xChat for nostr messages.

I encoded using the web interface. It works!

It should run on MX Linux when using the installer. At this point there is no need to set it up as a system service. First step is to figure out of the transcoding works. Which nvidia drivers and which ffmpeg version works. I don't have that hardware setup myself at the moment.

Not your follower (yet, anyway), but can do testing on it.
