Does anyone have to reboot their #node every few days because it just (overheats and) stops working?
I installed #start9 OS and run my #Bitcoin node, my #Nextcloud server and a couple other things on it. Might be too much for the hardware?

PS. I bought this miniPC for the purpose, probably wanting to save one or two 100$s was the mistake here. Storage is in an external 2TB drive with USB 3.0.

If it's literally shutting down because of the heat, then you have a real world problem, and not a software one. Sure, running a bunch of stuff and generating heat is your issue, but any modern cooling should absolutely be able to handle a mini chassis.
Buy new thermal paste and reseat whatever cooling decide you have. If necessary, clean with compressed air and see how it does then.
If hat doesn't work, sounds like you've decided to replace the whole thing.
I would remove the lid. If you keep that little box completely opened you'll have better temps inside.
Thanks! I think I’ll deinstall a couple of things I’m not using currently and then yes maybe taking the lid off and cleaning the ventilator (if it has one lol I have no idea), and if that doesn’t work then I change the thermal paste or start looking for a new device 😅
Thanks yes true back then I had an open RPi with Umbrel installed and temperature was then no issue
