Of course shooters will have mental issues. That's literal definition of mental issue when you do something so extreme. That's not an argument against gun violence. Why should it be a 1 pronged approach? Why not tackle both the gun violence by decreasing availability of guns and tackle mental health crisis? If you believe the underlying motivation isn't money, there's no point in arguing.
